HOW TO CHOOSE OUR TEAS
Would you eat an oxidized apple?
Maybe not, since it can taste quite yucky.

But we bet you would love an oxidised tea leaf!
Tea comes from only one plant: The Camellia Sinensis

Oxidation of Tea
Oxidation affects the flavour, aroma, colour and strength of tea.
But to add to the fun - cultivar, terroir and method of processing etc. also affect how tea tastes.
To figure out what you might like, have a look at this Beca Oxidized Tea Leaf Chart that describes the general taste profiles of the teas offered on our menu.
