More than 90 years ago, great-grandpa started peddling tea out of his tin trunk, on a trishaw, around Kuala Lumpur. Memories in black-and-white, of bullock carts and slicked back hair. In a town built on the backs of coolie labour, governed overtly by the British but ruled in the shadows by the secret societies. A time where social unruliness and chaos were part of everyday life.
5 generations later, there is a different chaos in our lives.
